The Anambra State Government has announced a mid-term break for all public and private schools across the state as part of the approved 2025/2026 academic calendar.
In a press release issued by the Office of the Honourable Commissioner for Education and dated February 14, 2026, the Ministry of Education stated that schools will proceed on mid-term break from Monday, February 16 to Friday, February 20, 2026.
According to the statement, academic activities are scheduled to resume on Monday, February 23, 2026.
Parents and guardians were advised to properly supervise their children and wards during the break and ensure they complete all assigned academic work.
