SAZU approves new working hours for Ramadan fasting period

In preparation for the upcoming holy month of Ramadan, the management of Sa’adu Zungur University, Bauchi State, has approved an adjustment to the institution’s official working hours.

According to an internal memorandum issued by the Office of the Registrar and signed by B. M. Sabo (PAR, Establishments) on behalf of the Registrar, staff and members of the university community will work from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. throughout the fasting period.

The development, conveyed in a memo with reference number SAZU/REG/ESTB/GC/, is aimed at enabling Muslim faithful to fully observe the blessings of the month.

“In view of the forthcoming holy Month of Ramadan, the University management has approved the adjustment of the working hours from 9:00am to 2:00pm to enable the Muslim faithful observe the full blessing of the Month,” the statement read.

Management extended its warm wishes to the university community, saying, “On behalf of the Management, I wish you a blissful Ramadan Kareem!”
