The management of Gombe State University (GOMSU) has announced the opening of its student accommodation portal for the 2025/2026 academic session.
According to a memo issued by the Students’ Affairs Division and signed by the Dean, Prof. Rasheed Abdulganiy, the accommodation portal will open at exactly 12:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 26, 2026.
Students interested in securing hostel accommodation are advised to log into the university portal to make their reservations and complete payment, as available spaces for each level of study are limited.
The Dean emphasized that hostel allocation will be conducted strictly on a first-come, first-served basis. Students were also cautioned that any hostel reservation will automatically be cancelled if payment is not made within 48 hours of reservation.
Furthermore, the university stated that payments made after the cancellation of a reservation will not be refunded under any circumstances.
Students are therefore encouraged to act promptly and adhere strictly to the stated guidelines to avoid losing their hostel reservations.
The memo was copied to the Vice-Chancellor, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration), Registrar, and the Chief Security Officer for information and necessary action.
