The Federal University Lokoja has partnered with Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja to establish a Study Centre on Kogi State Polytechnic Campus. This collaborative initiative offers Special Undergraduate Degree Programmes with two key objectives:
- To provide a pathway for HND holders to convert their certificates into corresponding undergraduate degrees.
- To enable University graduates enhance their degree qualifications.
Duration of the Programme
The academic programmes will be offered in one mode of study; Part-time (Weekend Programme):
- Six semesters (three semesters per year)
Admission Requirements
Applicants must possess a minimum of five (5) O’ level credits in subjects relevant to their desired course of study, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two (2) sittings. Applicants must possess HND or University Degree from a recognised institution, with Minimum Qualification of HND Pass or Maximum Qualification of Third Class Degree.
Applicants must possess a Certificate of Discharge, Exemption or Exclusion from the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Scheme.
Method of Application
i. To register, visit https://portal.kogistatepolytechnic.edu.ng/pd_dip/applyConversion
ii. Generate your RRR Payment invoice of N20,000.00 (Application Form) using REMITA services (ATM Card or Bank Payment), click on the “Pay Now” button to process your payment.
iii. Complete the online Application Form and click submit.
iv. Print evidence of Application Submission.
