The Dennis Osadebay University, Asaba, Delta State, has officially announced its Maiden Convocation Ceremony for the awards of first degrees, recognitions, and presentation of prizes.
The event is scheduled to hold on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at the Convocation Arena, Asaba, beginning at 10:00 AM.

In a statement issued by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ben Emukufia Akpoyomare Oghojafor, on behalf of the Governing Council, Senate, Staff, and Students, the university has lined up a week-long activities leading to the grand finale.
Highlights of the Convocation Week:
· Sunday, March 1, 2026: Pre-Convocation Interdenominational Service at the Chapel of The Resurrection, Anglican Communion, Dennis Osadebay University Asaba – 8:00 AM
· Monday, March 2, 2026: Pre-Convocation Press Conference by the Vice Chancellor at the Main Auditorium – 2:00 PM
· Thursday, March 5, 2026: Convocation Lecture and Opening of Exhibition at the Main Auditorium and Exhibition Arena – 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM
· Friday, March 6, 2026: Founders Day Lecture at the Main Auditorium – 10:00 AM; Convocation Drama titled Itoha written by Julia Okoh and performed by the DOU Creative Arts Department – 4:30 PM
· Saturday, March 7, 2026: Convocation for the Awards of First Degrees, Recognitions, and Presentation of Prizes at the Convocation Arena – 10:00 AM; Alumni Reception Evening – 4:30 PM
· Sunday, March 8, 2026: Post-Convocation Thanksgiving Mass at St. Anthony’s Catholic Chaplaincy, DOU – 7:00 AM
