DELSU update to NELFUND beneficiaries regarding participation in 1st semester exams, 2025/2026

In line with the University’s commitment to ensuring equitable access to academic opportunities, Faculties are hereby requested to permit students who present evidence of Verified or Disbursed status under the NELFUND scheme to participate in the First Semester 2025/2026 Examinations.

Students whose status on the NELFUND platform is indicated as “Verified” or “Disbursed” are deemed to have satisfied the necessary requirements under the scheme. Such status therefore constitutes official confirmation of their eligibility for financial support.

Accordingly, Faculties should allow affected students to sit for their examinations upon presentation of verifiable evidence indicating their Verified or Disbursed NELFUND status.

This measure is intended to promote fairness, prevent undue academic disadvantage to affected students, and reinforce the University’s commitment to inclusive education.
