The Federal University of Agriculture and Technology, Okeho (FUNATO), has officially released the registration procedure for its pioneer students, scheduled to commence on Monday, 9th March 2026. This development follows the conclusion of the institution’s maiden Post-UTME screening exercise, which held from January 19 to 30, 2026, for the 2025/2026 academic session .
According to a detailed guideline from the Office of the Registrar, Senate Affairs Division, prospective students are required to complete a multi-desk administrative registration process. The exercise is designed to verify documents, complete medical checks, and finalize student records.

Step-by-Step Registration Process
The registration will be conducted at a designated venue behind the Green Building and will operate on a first-come, first-served basis using a tally system to ensure orderliness .
· DESK 1 (ICT Department): The first point of call is the ICT desk, where the authenticity of applicants’ Ordinary Level results (SSCE/GCE, NECO/NABTEB) will be confirmed online using the scratch pins provided by the students.
· DESK 2 (The College): At the College desk, led by the Dean, students must present a slew of original documents for sighting. These include the original admission letter, JAMB result slip, O’Level certificates, Birth Certificate, National Identification Number (NIN) slip, and a reference letter (attestation) from a Cleric or a Senior Civil Servant (not below Grade Level 14). Students are also required to submit three photocopies of each document and 20 passport photographs for their files .
· DESK 3 (Admission Office): Following document verification, the Admission Office will endorse the students’ clearance forms and issue an Authority to Pay school fees. Students are advised to download, print, and fill the clearance form beforehand. Notably, students are given one week from the issuance of this authority to complete their fee payment.
· DESK 4 (Medical Registration): The Medical Centre will handle health registrations. Students must fill a medical form and submit results from government-approved laboratories, including X-ray tests, blood group, and genotype. Medical examinations will be scheduled on a college-by-college basis. Two passport photographs are required for this desk.
· DESK 4 (Library Registration): Running concurrently with the medical desk is the library registration. To register at the library, students must present a copy of their admission letter, evidence of school fees payment, and two passport photographs.
Sitting Arrangement and Orderliness
University management has urged students to maintain order by sitting under trees and canopies provided behind the Green Building. Tally numbers will be distributed to streamline the process, and registration will be conducted simultaneously on a college-by-college basis to prevent overcrowding and rowdiness .
