The University of Alberta Scholarship offers up to $52 million each year for potential undergraduate students worldwide seeking to study in Canada. The University of Alberta Undergraduate Scholarships range from a sum of $5,000 to $120,000 based on admission average and demonstrated leadership qualities over a period of four years of undergraduate study at the institution.

Benefits of University of Alberta Scholarship 2026

  • President’s International Distinction Scholarship
    Each year 25 students with a superior admission average and demonstrated leadership qualities entering their first year of an undergraduate degree on a student visa permit receive up to CAN $120,000 (payable over 4 years).
  • A Chan Pang Kuen Memorial International Distinction Scholarship
    Students with a superior admission average and demonstrated leadership qualities entering their first year of an undergraduate degree on a student visa permit receive up to CAN $120,000 (payable over 4 years).
  • Cora Martinson International Scholarship
    Students with superior academic achievement entering any year of an undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty on a student visa permit could receive up to CAN $56,000 (payable over 4 years).
  • International Leader Scholarship
    This scholarship recognizes and rewards well-rounded applicants with superior academics based on their leadership roles and accomplishments in their school, community organizations, extracurricular activities, or even in their workplace. Recipients may receive up to CAN $15,000.
  • International Admission Scholarship
    Top students could receive up to CAN $5,000 based on admission average.
  • Regional Excellence Scholarship
    Top students from certain regions could receive up to CAN $5,000 based on the admission average.
  • Gold Standard Scholarship
    The top 5% of students in each faculty could receive up to CAN $6,000 based on admission average.
