The Industrial Training and Coordinating Unit (ITCU) of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi, has issued an official notice announcing the end of the SIWES Programme for the 2024/2025 academic session. The announcement, dated November 21, 2025, was released by the Deputy Registrar of the Unit, Yahuza Haruna Gital.
According to the notice, all SIWES students are advised to begin rounding off their activities and take note of key requirements as the programme winds down. Students are instructed to submit their logbooks, ITF Form 8, and biodata forms to their departmental SIWES coordinators two weeks after resumption.

Additionally, students are urged to commence writing their SIWES reports in line with university guidelines and prepare for their SIWES defence, where they will present and explain the experiences gained during their industrial training.
The ITCU commended students for demonstrating productivity, dedication, and discipline throughout their training period, adding that several organizations have shown interest in some students as a result of their performance.
The Unit further congratulated the students on progressing to their final year in the next academic session, describing it as a significant achievement in their academic journey.
