Shehu Shagari University of Education, Sokoto (SSUES) has released the official guidelines for Acceptance, Screening, and Confirmation of Admission for all newly admitted students for the 2025/2026 academic session
Candidates offered admission are required to follow the step-by-step procedure outlined on the University’s Students Portal to complete their confirmation process.
Steps for Acceptance, Screening & Confirmation of Admission
1. Visit the University Students Portal at portal.ssues.edu.ng
2. Click on “Check Admission Status” on the left-hand side of the page.
3. Enter your JAMB Registration Number and click “Check Admission.”
4. If successfully admitted, click on “View Invoice.”
5. Your Acceptance & Screening Invoice will be displayed. Click “Click Here to Pay Online” to proceed.
6. Choose either Card Payment or Bank Transfer to complete the payment, then print the payment invoice.
7. After payment, return to the portal and log in using your JAMB Registration Number as both username and password.
8. Update all required information including Bio-data, Next of Kin, O-Level details, and upload a clear passport photograph and signature.
9. Print two copies each of the Bio-data form and evidence of payment for Acceptance and Screening.
10. Proceed to the designated venue for Confirmation of Admission.
Documents Required for Confirmation
Candidates must present the following at the confirmation venue:
Original and photocopies of all credentials, including:
Primary School Certificate
O’Level or A’Level Results
Birth Certificate/Declaration of Age
Indigene Certificate
Any other relevant documents
JAMB Admission Letter (both Candidate Copy and Institutional Copy)
Passport photographs
