The Akwa Ibom State College of Nursing Sciences (AKSCONS), Ikot Ekpene, has announced the commencement of registration for admission into its Post Basic Psychiatric Nursing Programme for the 2026 academic session.
According to a statement issued by the Registrar, Mr. Philip I. Eduok, registration for the programme will run from Monday, 9th February, 2026 to Friday, 20th March, 2026. The registration exercise will take place at the College premises in Ikot Ekpene.
Prospective candidates are expected to register between 10:00am and 3:00pm daily, from Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.
Required Documents
Interested candidates are to present two photocopies of the following documents during registration:
- Professional Certificate (Registered Nurse – RN)
- Educational Certificates: FSLC, WASC, SSCE, GCE, NECO or NABTEB with at least five (5) credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology obtained in not more than two (2) sittings
- Testimonial from the last professional school attended
- Birth Certificate or Age Declaration
- Change of Name document (where applicable)
- Certificate of Origin
- Two recent passport photographs with red background
