The management of Amadeus University, Amizi, Ikwuano LGA, Umuahia, has announced that the National Universities Commission (NUC) has granted approval for the commencement of three new degree programmes starting from the 2025/2026 academic session.
The newly approved programmes are:

MBBS Medicine and Surgery
LL.B. Law
Pharm.D. Doctor of Pharmacy
According to the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Samuel M. Nzotta, the approval follows a thorough evaluation of the university’s human and material resources by the NUC. Admissions have already begun for the MBBS Medicine & Surgery and Doctor of Pharmacy programmes.
To qualify for admission, candidates must have scored 200 and above in JAMB for Medicine & Surgery and 180 and above for Doctor of Pharmacy, in addition to relevant credit passes in SSCE or NECO. Interested applicants are advised to apply through the JAMB CAPS and change their choice of institution and course accordingly.
The release also noted that admissions are ongoing for 19 other courses offered by the university, with the deadline for admission set for November 30, 2025.
