The management of Federal University Wukari (FUWUKARI) has announced the reopening of its portal for the PUTME Online Screening for the 2025/2026 academic session.
According to a statement signed by the Registrar, Mr. Usman M. Sani, the decision was made following observations that some candidates who applied for admission into the institution were unable to register for the PUTME screening exercise, which earlier concluded on 30th September, 2025.
Consequently, the University Management has granted approval for the portal to be reopened to allow affected candidates to complete their registration. The portal will be open from Monday, 3rd November 2025, and will close on Monday, 10th November 2025.
However, the statement noted that admissions into the following programmes have already been concluded:
1. Medicine and Surgery
2. Medical Laboratory Science
3. Doctor of Physiotherapy
4. Law
5. Microbiology
6. Political Science
Candidates who applied for any of the above programmes are therefore advised not to register, except they wish to do a change of programme.
The Registrar further warned that any candidate who fails to register within the stipulated period will not be considered any longer.
