The Federal University of Education, Zaria (FUEZ), through its Office of the Dean of Students’ Affairs, has announced the official launch of student email accounts for all newly admitted 100L and 200L students.
In a statement dated 17th February 2026, the Dean informed registered students that the initiative is designed to enhance academic communication, strengthen student identity management, and improve access to digital services across the institution.
According to the notice, the official student email accounts will offer several benefits including a verified digital identity, secure communication with lecturers and administration, timely delivery of academic updates, and access to institutional portals and e-learning platforms.
To support the sustainability of the system, each student is required to pay a maintenance fee of ₦500, covering a four-year period. The fee will be used for server upkeep, technical support, security monitoring, and system upgrades to ensure reliable and uninterrupted service.
Students from the following faculties are expected to participate in the launch exercise:
· Faculty of Arts Education
· Faculty of General Education
· Faculty of Sciences Education
· Faculty of Vocational and Technical Education
· Faculty of Social Science Education
· Faculty of Specialized Education
· Faculty of Nigerian and Foreign Languages
The enrollment will begin on 18th February 2026 and will hold from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm (Monday to Friday) at the Amb. Jidda Baba Ahmad CBT Centre, FUEZ.
