FULOKOJA enforces wearing of ID cards on Campus

The attention of the University Management has been drawn to the declining culture of wearing official identification (ID) cards among staff and students of the University.

In view of the increasing security challenges across the country and the need to maintain a safe and secure environment within the University community, all staff and students are hereby reminded of the importance of wearing their official University ID cards at all times while on campus.

The ID card serves as an important means of identification and helps security personnel easily distinguish members of the University community from visitors. It also enhances the overall security architecture of the institution and ensures that access to key facilities is properly regulated.

Consequently, the Directorate of Strategic Communication and Corporate Documentation wishes to sensitize all members of the University community on the need to comply strictly with this requirement.

Please note that after three (3) weeks from the date of this release, enforcement will commence. From that time, any staff member or student without a valid University ID card will not be allowed access to the Senate Building and other designated sensitive facilities within the University.

Members of the University community are therefore strongly advised to ensure that they wear their ID cards visibly while on campus. Staff and students who have misplaced their ID cards are advised to begin the process of replacement immediately through the appropriate University channels.

The cooperation of all staff and students is essential in maintaining a secure, orderly, and conducive learning and working environment.

Thank you.
