This is to formally inform all students who have applied for NELFUND and are currently seeing a #5,000 charge on their portal, the SUG President has strongly advised that no payment should be made at this time.
The charge is a result of a system glitch which has been identified. Necessary steps are currently being taken to rectify the issue as soon as possible.
All affected students are hereby directed to disregard the charge pending an official communication confirming that the issue has been resolved. Further updates will be communicated in due course.
