Previous Deadline:Public universities were initially expected to conclude 2025 admissions by Friday, 31st October 2025.
New Deadline: The deadline has been extended to Monday, 17th November 2025.
Reasons for Extension:
(a) Appeal from AVCNU due to disruptions caused by a court order that affected the 2025/26 admission list until 28th October 2025.
(b) NUC released a list of 229 newly accredited programmes in 37 universities on 29th October 2025, and admissions into those are just starting.
The purpose of this is to ensure fairness, inclusiveness, and proper completion of admissions into public universities.
JAMB emphasizes that this new deadline is final and must be strictly followed.
