LAUTECH announces 72nd inaugural lecture

The Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) is set to host its 72nd Inaugural Lecture, featuring a deep dive into the evolving world of financial systems and digital transitions.

​The lecture, titled “Dynamics of Accounting and Payment System (DAPS): The Hopes, The Fears and Aspirations,” will be delivered by Morufu Oladehinde Oladejo, a distinguished Professor of Accounting. Professor Oladejo brings a wealth of expertise to the podium, holding multiple academic and professional honors including a Ph.D., FCA, and FCTI.

​Venue: The Great Hall, LAUTECH, Ogbomoso

​The event will be held under the distinguished chairmanship of Prof. R. O. Rom Kalilu, the Vice-Chancellor of LAUTECH. The formal invitation is issued on behalf of the university community by the Registrar, Olayinka O. Balogun (Mrs).

​This 72nd edition promises to explore the critical intersections of modern accounting practices and the rapidly changing landscape of payment systems. As global economies shift toward more complex digital infrastructures, Professor Oladejo will address the “hopes” for efficiency, the “fears” regarding security and systemic stability, and the “aspirations” for the future of the profession in Nigeria and beyond.
