This is to inform all staff and students that there will be a temporary internet service outage on the Main Campus to allow for the renovation and upgrade of the Polytechnic’s ICT Network Operating Centre (NOC) building.
This renovation is a critical step towards modernizing our ICT infrastructure, ensuring a more reliable, secure, and high-speed network service in the future. The process will require the temporary shutdown of core network equipment to guarantee the safety of personnel and protect the integrity of the hardware.
Consequently, wireless internet services (FPO-Cloud) on the Main Campus will be unavailable during the period: From Monday, 18th August 2025 by 8:00 am, and it’s expected to end on Monday, 8th September 2025 by 5:00 pm.
During this period, there will be no internet access via FPO-Cloud across the entire Main Campus.
All users are strongly advised to save important online work and download necessary materials before the outage begins.
We sincerely regret any inconvenience this may cause, and assure the Polytechnic community that every effort will be made to complete the renovation promptly and safely, so that internet services can be restored with significant improvements.
