NUBAPOLY notice on dissolution and re-Registration of all Students’ Associations and Unions

The Students Affairs Unit of Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic, Zaria, has announced the immediate dissolution of all students’ associations, unions, and clubs operating within the institution.

Consequently, all affected associations and unions are hereby directed to report to the Office of the Dean, Student Affairs for renewal or fresh registration in order to be officially recognized by the Polytechnic.

Associations seeking official recognition are required to submit the following documents:

  • A list of current Executive Officers (EXCOs), including names, registration numbers, departments, and contact details.
  • One (1) copy of the association’s constitution.
  • Minutes of the most recent meeting.
  • One (1) additional copy of the constitution for official records.

Approved Fees:
New Registration Fee: ₦5,000.00 only
Renewal Fee: ₦2,500.00 only

All payments must be made as directed by the Dean, Student Affairs Office, and evidence of payment must be presented during submission.

The Polytechnic Management further stated that any association or union that fails to comply with this directive will not be recognized and shall not be permitted to operate within the institution.

This directive is issued in the interest of proper coordination, accountability, and effective regulation of students’ activities within the Polytechnic.
