SAZU Students Council notice to all NELFUND beneficiaries

The Students’ Representative Council (SRC) of Sa’adu Zungur University (SAZU) has issued an urgent notice to all students facing challenges with their NELFUND application or disbursement.

In a statement signed by SRC President Comr. Iliyasu Umar Adamu, affected students are divided into two categories. The first includes those seeing error messages like “Contact your Education Institution to update,” either for missing information or invalid academic session. These students are required to log into the school portal, print the missing details as requested, and submit them at the SRC Office.

The second category covers students yet to receive their upkeep for the 2023/2024 or 2024/2025 sessions, as well as those whose portals reflect a ₦0.00 balance despite a successful application. Affected students must submit a formal complaint letter detailing their application timeline, the specific session involved, and a full account of events since applying.

Students with previous bank-related issues are instructed to explain the problem clearly and provide updated account details. Even those without visible errors but who have not received payment are urged to submit a detailed report.

All complaints must be submitted within one week. Submissions can be made physically at the SRC Office or via the contact numbers provided in the notice.

The SRC urged students to remain calm and cooperate, assuring that all genuine cases will be addressed, In sha Allah.
