The Faculty of Arts Students’ Association (FASA), University of Uyo, has announced that payment of faculty dues is now a compulsory requirement for participation in the semester examinations.
In an official notice dated February 7, 2026, and issued by the FASA Secretariat, all students of the Faculty of Arts were informed that no student will be allowed into the examination hall without presenting a valid Faculty Dues receipt. The directive applies to both faculty courses and other registered courses.
Students have been advised to make their payments promptly and ensure that their bank teller is converted to an official receipt at the FASA Secretariat.
According to the notice, the faculty dues are set at ₦1,000 (One Thousand Naira only). Payment details provided include:

The association urged students to comply to avoid any inconvenience during examinations.
The notice was signed by Comr. Divine Ekong (GCOF), President, and Comr. Emmanuel Bassey, Secretary-General FASA. Copies were also sent to the Dean, Faculty of Arts, and the Staff Adviser of the Faculty of Arts Students’ Association.
