Your Education Matters: TASU Management Shares “Positive” Progress on Strike Resolution

The management of Taraba State University has issued an official notice to the university community regarding the ongoing strike action initiated by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).

The university management formally acknowledged that ASUU embarked on strike action on February 18, 2026 and that that concerted efforts are currently underway by relevant stakeholders to resolve the issues causing the industrial action.

In light of these developments, the university is urging both staff and students to exercise restraint in two specific areas: avoid the unnecessary scheduling of meetings on campus and to  refrain from spreading unverified or false information on social media platforms.

The community is urged to remain calm, patient, and cooperative while awaiting further official communication.
