The Faculty of Biological Sciences, University of Uyo, has announced the commencement of its screening exercise for candidates admitted into the 2025/2026 academic session.
According to a statement released by the Faculty Secretariat on November 7, 2025, the screening exercise is open to all newly admitted students under the Faculty. The departments under the Faculty of Biological Sciences include Animal and Environmental Biology, Biochemistry, Botany and Ecological Studies, and Microbiology.
Candidates are required to present the following documents during the screening exercise:
1. Online Acceptance Fee Receipt duly signed by the Faculty’s Bursar
2. JAMB and UNIUYO Admission Letters
3. JAMB Result Slip
4. O’level Examination Result (WAEC/NECO), both Original Certificate and Online Print-out
The Faculty also emphasized that decent dressing is a compulsory requirement for all candidates participating in the screening exercise.
The announcement, signed by Comr. Ekemini Bassey, Secretary General of the Faculty Secretariat, congratulated all admitted students and encouraged them to comply with the screening guidelines.
